Sibling Suckerpunch

This project was designed and created over 48 hours for the 2019 Global Game Jam. The theme for the year was "What home means to you"... nostalgic, remembering all the old games I used to play at home with friends and family. Local multiplayer and having to play with split-screen, fighting over who is player one (normally oldest brother). All of these memories were put into the game, hoping that the player with siblings too remember fighting!

Gameplay

About the game

Reminiscent of fighting with your brother, in this 2.5D 2-player brawler you need to fight it out without destroying too much of your room! If your mother hears too much havoc by breaking the furniture she'll tell off the least damaged brother, but be finished before dinner gets cold else she'll come up either way! This game support Xbox 360 Controllers and keyboard. Keyboard: Player 1: WASD - Movement E - Light Attack Q - Special Attack Player 2: IJKL- Movement O - Light Attack U - Special Attack Controller: Joystick - Movement A - Light Attack B - Special Attack Each character has a unique special attack, and as always, the big brother is player one! Controller is always player one then player two, so if you're using controller and keyboard player one will be the controller and player two will use keyboard (IJKL controls).
