Super Smash Potatoes is platform fighter game similar to Super Smash Bros. A load of playable characters, unique maps and item that spawn in game! Player can build the level they like in the level editor too.
In this project we were put into groups of 3/4 and undertake a team based project to produce a vertical slice of a 2-D video game product and aspects of a wider asset pipeline. The code we were given was basic DirectXTK project with basic renderer system, a central “game” loop and GameObject class implemented. This project both had to work with controllers and UWE arcade system. The game we were given to recreate was Nintendo's smash hit, Super Smash Bros. Summary: Build a game engines for a super smash bros type game.
